DIY Project: Message Under Your Wedding Shoe

As I was doing my previous Inspiration Board, I saw this picture of a bride wearing a high-heeled shoe with the word “I do” written using bedazzles at the bottom of the shoe and so I thought this will be a perfect DIY project.

All the bride-to-be needs for this project are rhinestones and studs which can be easily bought from any local craft store and a bottle of glue. Then she just have to form the word “I” and “do” or the initials of their names in each pair of the shoe using rhinestones glued at the bottom of the shoe and this will be a unique and cute part of their wedding detail.

Imagine, your guests can read your sparkly message as you kneel down during the wedding ceremony. It is also a cute wedding detail to be captured in photographs.

I will definitely keep this mind. Who knows, I can get to wear a wedding dress again on our 10th or 15th year anniversary.

Prince William Engaged to Kate Middleton

This news has been all over the net now so I have to make a post about it here too especially it is about the soon to be wedding of London’s most eligible bachelor. Yes, Prince William is now engaged to his girl friend of eight years, Kate Middleton (whose official name is Catherine Elizabeth and will soon be called Queen Catherine when Prince William takes over the British throne.)

Prince William proposed when they were in vacation in Kenya, Africa. He gave Kate the engagement ring worn by her late mother, Princess Diana. Quoting Prince William:

“This was my way of making sure that my mother didn't miss out on today.”

No details have been given yet on the date of the wedding but they are saying that it will be next spring or summer in London. The church ceremony probably will be held at St. Paul's Cathedral, where Charles and Diana got married.

For sure, this will be Britain’s biggest royal wedding after Prince Charles and Lady Diana’s wedding 30 years ago.

Inspiration Board # 20: Colors of Christmas - Gold and Cream Theme Wedding

My family went to the mall yesterday and I can already hear Christmas carols being played and the mall is decorated with Christmas ornaments already so it made me really feel that Christmas is just around the corner.

Because of this, it inspired to use the colors of Christmas for my inspiration board for this week.

For sure the reception venue and the church will be decorated with red and green Christmas ornaments on the day of your wedding if you plan to get married during the holiday season so you may not wan to use these colors anymore. But there are other color palettes too that you can use for your color theme to show the colors of Christmas and one of them is the combination of gold and cream.

Personalized Christening Invitations

Meet my niece, Izzie:

My sister-in-law gave birth to this cute little princess last October 2, 2010. She just turned one month a few days ago and so my brother and my sister-in-law are now busy preparing for the Christening of Izzie as they want her to be baptized before she turned two months old.

I helped them in booking the church and the reception venue and all that is left now to do is order the invitation cards for the event and of course nothing can be cuter than customized invitation cards. Just look at some of our sample customized baby invitations and baby announcement cards here.

For each invitation design, the clients can select the color combination that they want and we will email them the proof within five business days before we send the cards for production. And once the layout has been approved, the invitations will be delivered within 21 business days.

My brother and my sister-in-law got really excited as they just got the prints from the last photo shoot of their baby and they can’t wait to see this picture in the Christening invitation of my niece.
