Inspiration Board # 19: Pink Theme Wedding

Since the color pink is associated with the campaign to spread awareness for breast cancer and since October is the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I decided to create an inspiration board today revolving around the color pink.

They say that women has a natural love for the color pink so it will be no surprise if the bride decides to use it as her wedding color theme. Pink, like red, is the color of love but if red symbolizes hot passion, pink is for the romantic and charming love.

Some groom might find this color too girly but you can still use pink as your wedding color theme without being too feminine by not going overboard and just use a little touch of pink in the invitation, table centrepiece, the bouquet, and even the cake details.

Wedding day is a very great way to reminisce before both the bride and the groom start a new life together. One way to reminisce those good times with friends and family is by creating a photo gallery table.

The Colors of Fall

A lot of couples opt to get married during the Fall season as the weather is just perfect, not too hot like in the summer months but not too chilly and cold either like in the winter season. But aside from this, fall is also popular for wedding as it offers a lot of great color combinations as fall shows the beauty and warmth of the season and picturesque natural backdrops.

Think of the harvest season, the forest, the fallen leaves, pumpkins, this will offer a great color palette for a fall wedding. Here are some great color combinations for a Fall Wedding:

1. Orange. Pumpkins and fallen leaves are truly reflective of the fall season and are associated with the color orange. Orange is a vibrant color that can really show the color of the fall season. It can be paired with other colors like burgundy, sky blue, purple, gold, lilac, and green to achieve a very elegant wedding color palette.
2. Purple, which I must say is my favourite and I even used this color for my wedding. Deep purple is a great color especially for an evening reception but if the bride wants a more feminine touch, she can use light purple paired with chocolate.
